Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-450","heading":"Oklahoma Plan for Comprehensive Treatment of Chronic","body":"Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Act.\n\nA. This act shall be known and may be cited as the “Oklahoma\n\nPlan for Comprehensive Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary\n\nDisease Act”.\n\nB. The State Department of Health shall create a comprehensive\n\nchronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) state plan that\n\noutlines sustainable solutions for reducing the burden of COPD in\n\nOklahoma through the coordinated implementation of multiple\n\nstrategies. The Department may utilize existing plans developed by\n\nadvocacy organizations as a cost-saving means of developing such\n\nstrategies. These strategies shall include, without limitation,\n\nrecommendations for:\n\n1. The prevention and early detection of COPD to reduce the\n\nincidence of disease;\n\n2. The treatment and management of COPD to ensure that health\n\ncare providers offer state-of-the-art care;\n\n3. Increasing public awareness, patient education and proper\n\nmedical management of COPD among the general public and those living\n\nwith COPD; and\n\n4.
