Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-502","heading":"Rules and regulations","body":"(a) The State Board of Health shall have authority to adopt such\n\nrules and regulations, not inconsistent with law, as it deems\n\nnecessary to aid in the prevention and control of communicable\n\ndisease, which may be on the following matters: Recommended\n\nimmunization procedures; quarantine measures; exclusion of children\n\nfrom school; regulation of public meetings and gatherings in\n\nepidemic situations; regulation of vectors; control of vehicles\n\ncapable of transmitting a communicable disease; detection and\n\ndiagnosis of communicable disease; carriers of disease; disposal of\n\ninfected body wastes and other materials; fumigation, cleaning and\n\nsterilization, and disinfection; and other necessary measures to\n\nprevent and control communicable disease.\n\n(b) The State Board of Health is authorized to establish\n\npreventive programs for noncommunicable diseases and to promulgate\n\nrules and regulations for the control of causative or toxic\n\nsubstances which can or may cause disease.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6a2dd56da050f6f9ef56b6d4deafe0a5bae02b1c2d1ecf879b5de93149916fbc","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-501","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-502.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
