Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-534","heading":"Tests","body":"The State Board of Health shall make such rules and regulations\n\npertaining to such tests as accepted medical practice shall\n\nindicate, and is authorized to make such testing mandatory if\n\nsufficient evidence exists that the public has been negligent in\n\naccepting such practice and if the Board considers it in the public\n\ninterest to do so. The State Board of Health is hereby authorized\n\nto set up laboratory facilities and use existing facilities for the\n\nperformance of examinations and tests for the detection of these\n\ndiseases and make a reasonable charge therefor; provided, however,\n\nthat no child shall be denied such laboratory work or tests because\n\nof the inability of its parents or guardian to pay therefor.\n\nProvided, further, that the State Board of Health may approve other\n\nlaboratories for the performance of such tests; provided that the\n\nprovisions of this section shall not apply to any infant whose\n\nparents object thereto on the grounds that such examination\n\nconflicts with their religious tenets and practices.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4da5eff682860376e46c3e3e9e0c31f1d069f31aebcfd84eb318dccc725c8b00","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-533v2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-534.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
