Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-539.12","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this section:\n\n1. \"Controlled dangerous substance\" means a drug, substance or\n\nimmediate precursor in Schedules I through V of the Uniform\n\nControlled Dangerous Substances Act or any drug, substance or\n\nimmediate precursor listed either temporarily or permanently as a\n\nfederally controlled substance;\n\n2. \"First responder\" means an individual who performs emergency\n\nmedical services on scene in accordance with the Oklahoma Emergency\n\nResponse Systems Development Act and rules of the State Board of\n\nHealth promulgated thereto;\n\n3. \"Passive exposure\" means when an individual is exposed to a\n\ncontrolled dangerous substance without actually ingesting or using\n\nthe substance himself or herself; and\n\n4. \"Volunteer\" means a person who enters into a service or\n\nundertaking of the person's free will without compensation or\n\nexpectation of compensation in money or other thing of value in\n\norder to provide a service, care, assistance, advice, or other\n\nbenefit; provided, being legally entitled to receive compensation\n\nfor the service or undertaking performed shall not preclude a person\n\nfrom being considered a volunteer.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"973fdb8777b8b7a35606f1037a7fec96f4419435ff811b82ada2faf583a099f1","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-539.11","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-539.13"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
