As used in this section, \"birthing facility\" means an\n\ninpatient or ambulatory health care facility licensed by the State\n\nDepartment of Health that provides birthing and newborn care\n\nservices.\n\nB. The State Department of Health shall require each birthing\n\nfacility to perform a pulse oximetry screening on every newborn in\n\nits care prior to discharge from the birthing facility.\n\nC.
