Except as provided in subsection C of this section, any\n\nperson engaging in the practice of genetic counseling shall obtain a\n\nlicense to do so as hereinafter provided. A license to practice\n\ngenetic counseling shall be issued to any person who qualifies\n\npursuant to the provisions of this act.\n\nB. Any person who does not have a valid license or temporary\n\nlicense as a genetic counselor shall not use in connection with his\n\nor her name or place of business the title “genetic counselor”,\n\n“licensed genetic counselor”, “gene counselor”, “genetic\n\nconsultant”, “genetic associate”, or any words, letters,\n\nabbreviations or insignia indicating or implying that a person has\n\nmet the qualifications for or has the license issued pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of this act.\n\nC.
