The State Department of Health may monitor each hospital’s\n\ncompliance with the requirements of this act using any of the\n\nfollowing methods:\n\n1. Evaluating complaints made by persons to the Department\n\nregarding noncompliance with this act;\n\n2. Reviewing any analysis prepared regarding noncompliance with\n\nthis act; and\n\n3. Auditing the Internet websites of hospitals for compliance\n\nwith this act.\n\nB. If the Department determines that a hospital is not in\n\ncompliance with a provision of this act, the Department may take any\n\nof the following actions:\n\n1. Provide a written notice to the hospital that clearly\n\nexplains the manner in which the hospital is not in compliance with\n\nthis act;\n\n2. Request a corrective action plan from the hospital if the\n\nhospital has materially violated a provision of this act, as\n\ndetermined under Section 6 of this act; and\n\n3. Impose an administrative penalty on the hospital and\n\npublicize the penalty on the Department’s Internet website if the\n\nhospital fails to:\n\na. respond to the Department’s request to submit a\n\ncorrective action plan, or\n\nb. comply with the requirements of a corrective action\n\nplan submitted to the Department.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e0685d739ef74ee73214c0d4e94608f520af49af2dc75d0d430ad06d833bd456","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-725.14","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-725.16"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
