Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-728b","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Freedom of Conscience Act:\n\n1. \"Health care facility\" means any public or private\n\norganization, corporation, authority, partnership, sole\n\nproprietorship, association, agency, network, joint venture, or\n\nother entity that is involved in providing health care services,\n\nincluding a hospital, clinic, medical center, ambulatory surgical\n\ncenter, private physician's office, pharmacy, nursing home,\n\nuniversity hospital, medical school, nursing school, medical\n\ntraining facility, inpatient health care facility, or other place\n\nwhere health care services are provided;\n\n2. \"Human embryo\" means a human organism that is derived by\n\nfertilization, parthenogenesis, cloning, or any other means from one\n\nor more human gametes or human diploid cells;\n\n3. \"In vitro human embryo\" means a human embryo, whether\n\ncryopreserved or not, living outside of a woman's body;\n\n4. \"Participate in\" means to perform, practice, engage in,\n\nassist in, recommend, counsel in favor of, make referrals for,\n\nprescribe, dispense, or administer drugs or devices or otherwise\n\npromote or encourage; and\n\n5. \"Person\" means any individual, corporation, industry, firm,\n\npartnership, association, venture, trust, institution, federal,\n\nstate or local governmental instrumentality, agency or body or any\n\nother legal entity however organized.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"297018cd9daad3b63674439909ff1aa12425d4a7f92584c25d00a4b49cd5927a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-728a","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-728c"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
