No health care facility is required to admit any patient or\n\nto allow the use of the health care facility for the purpose of\n\nperforming any of the acts specified in Section 3 of this act.\n\nB. A physician, physician's assistant, registered nurse,\n\npractical nurse, pharmacist, or any employee thereof, or any other\n\nperson who is an employee of, member of, or associated with the\n\nstaff of a health care facility in which the performance of an\n\nactivity specified in Section 3 of this act has been authorized, who\n\nin writing, refuses or states an intention to refuse to participate\n\nin the activity on moral or religious grounds shall not be required\n\nto participate in the activity and shall not be disciplined by the\n\nrespective licensing board or authorized regulatory department for\n\nrefusing or stating an intention to refuse to participate in the\n\npractice with respect to the activity.\n\nC.
