For the purposes of this section, \"damages\" do not include\n\nnoneconomic damages, as defined in Section 1-1708.1C of Title 63 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nB. A person who is adversely affected by conduct that is in\n\nviolation of the Freedom of Conscience Act may bring a civil action\n\nfor equitable relief, including reinstatement or damages, or both\n\nreinstatement and damages. An action under this subsection may be\n\ncommenced against the state and any office, department, independent\n\nagency, authority, institution, association, or other body in state\n\ngovernment created or authorized to be created by the state\n\nconstitution or any law. In an action under this subsection, the\n\ncourt shall award reasonable attorney fees to a person who obtains\n\nequitable relief, damages, or both.
