Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-737.5","heading":"Failure to post signage in abortion facilities – Fine","body":"– Cause of action.\n\nA. Any private office, freestanding outpatient clinic or other\n\nfacility or clinic that fails to post a required sign in knowing,\n\nreckless, or negligent violation of this act shall be assessed an\n\nadministrative fine of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00). Each day\n\non which an abortion, other than an abortion necessary to prevent\n\nthe death of the pregnant female, is performed, induced, prescribed\n\nfor, or where the means for an abortion are provided in a private\n\noffice, freestanding outpatient clinic or other facility or clinic\n\nin which the required sign is not posted during any portion of\n\nbusiness hours when patients or prospective patients are present is\n\na separate violation.\n\nB. An action may be brought by or on behalf of an individual\n\ninjured by the failure to post the required sign. A plaintiff in an\n\naction under this subsection may recover damages for emotional\n\ndistress and any other damages allowed by law.\n\nC.
