Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-738.3h","heading":"Identity of woman upon whom abortion performed -","body":"Disclosure.\n\nIn every action brought under this act, the court shall rule\n\nwhether the anonymity of any female upon whom an abortion has been\n\nperformed or attempted shall be preserved from public disclosure if\n\nshe does not give her consent to such disclosure. The court, upon\n\nmotion or sua sponte, shall make such a ruling and, upon determining\n\nthat her anonymity should be preserved, shall issue orders to the\n\nparties, witnesses, and counsel and shall direct the sealing of the\n\nrecord and exclusion of individuals from courtrooms or hearing rooms\n\nto the extent necessary to safeguard her identity from public\n\ndisclosure. Each such order shall be accompanied by specific\n\nwritten findings explaining why the anonymity of the female should\n\nbe preserved from public disclosure, why the order is essential to\n\nthat end, how the order is narrowly tailored to serve that interest,\n\nand why no reasonable less restrictive alternative exists.
