Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-851","heading":"Public policy as to development of long-term services","body":"The Legislature hereby declares that it is the public policy of\n\nthe State of Oklahoma that the offering and development of long-term\n\ncare services should be made in a planned, orderly and economical\n\nmanner consistent with and appropriate to services needed by people\n\nin various regions, districts or localities in the State of\n\nOklahoma, and that it is essential to the realization of this public\n\npolicy that the offering and development of long-term care services\n\nin the state be made in accordance with the needs for such services.\n\nIt is the purpose of the Legislature in enacting this act to further\n\nthis public policy by providing for the submittal of plans and\n\napplications, and by prohibiting the offering, development or change\n\nof existing services prior to the issuance of a certificate of need\n\nby the State Department of Health.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c09d6ff146894d11d7ea47e56c617b30216d7ab59da06c0746759ed655719e8e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-850","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-851.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
