Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-866.1","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this section:\n\n1. \"Assisted living center\" means any home or establishment\n\noffering, coordinating, or providing services to two or more persons\n\nwho:\n\na. are domiciled therein,\n\nb. are unrelated to the operator,\n\nc. by choice or functional impairments, need assistance\n\nwith personal care or nursing supervision,\n\nd. may need intermittent or unscheduled nursing care,\n\ne. may need medication assistance, and\n\nf. may need assistance with transfer and/or ambulation;\n\n2. \"Consumer\" means an individual seeking a referral to an\n\nassisted living center or continuum of care facility on behalf of\n\nthemselves or someone else as a representative;\n\n3. \"Continuum of care facility\" means a home, establishment, or\n\ninstitution providing nursing facility services as defined in\n\nSection 1-1902 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes and one or both\n\nof the following:\n\na. assisted living center services as defined in the\n\nContinuum of Care Assisted Living Act, and\n\nb. adult day care center services as defined in Section\n\n1-872 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes;\n\n4. \"Fee\" means a commission paid to an individual or entity in\n\nexchange for referring a consumer to an assisted living center or\n\ncontinuum of care facility which results in a resident move-in;\n\n5. \"Referral\" means identifying and referring a consumer to an\n\nassisted living center or continuum of care facility to facilitate\n\nan evaluation, in consultation with the community, of whether the\n\nassisted living center or continuum of care facility is a suitable\n\noption for the consumer;\n\n6. \"Referral agency\" means an entity that provides referrals to\n\nassisted living centers or continuum of care facilities for a fee\n\ncollected from a consumer or an assisted living center or continuum\n\nof care facility.
