Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-872","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Adult Day Care Act:\n\n1. “Adult day care center” or “center” means a facility which\n\nprovides basic day care services to unrelated impaired adults for\n\nmore than four (4) hours in a twenty-four-hour period. A center\n\nshall be a distinct entity, either freestanding or a separate\n\nprogram of a larger organization. A center shall have a separately\n\nverifiable staff, space, budget and participant record system. The\n\nterms adult day care center or center shall not include retirement\n\ncenters, senior citizen centers, or PACE organizations as defined by\n\n42 C.F.R., Section 460.6;\n\n2. “Basic day care services” means supervised health, social\n\nsupportive, and recreational services in a structured daytime\n\nprogram which serves functionally impaired adults who continue to\n\nlive in their own homes, usually with the aid of family caregivers;\n\n3. “Department” means the State Department of Health; and\n\n4. “Participant” means any person attending an adult day care\n\ncenter.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"3021772aa8e4411e8d5917262f134c8022f1264cf5663be20d0a4a060c2035a9","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-871","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-1-873"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
