Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-876","heading":"Denial, suspension, non-renewal or revocation of license","body":"- notice - Hearing - Reinstatement of suspended license.\n\nA. The State Department of Health may deny, suspend, deny\n\nrenewal or revoke the license of an applicant or a licensed adult\n\nday care center which fails to comply with the licensing\n\nrequirements and rules and regulations specified by the provisions\n\nof the Adult Day Care Act.\n\nB. The Department shall give a center thirty (30) days' written\n\nnotice that its license is to be suspended or revoked, and shall\n\ntake action at the end of that time if the center is still out of\n\ncompliance. However, if the health and safety of participants is\n\nthreatened, the suspension or revocation shall be effective\n\nimmediately, and the center closed.\n\nC. Holders of suspended or revoked licenses shall be entitled\n\nto a hearing before Department licensure officials if requested\n\nwithin ten (10) days of their notification. The hearing shall be\n\nheld at least ten (10) days before final action is taken and\n\nconducted pursuant to the Administrative Procedures Act.\n\nD.
