Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1-917","heading":"Standards for bottled water plants","body":"All bottled water plants shall comply with the following standards\n\nof sanitation and safety:\n\n(1) The source of water supply shall be structurally protected\n\nto prevent contamination and shall provide such treatment as\n\nnecessary to insure the water to be bacteriologically and chemically\n\nsafe for drinking purposes.\n\n(2) The bottled water plant shall be maintained in a clean and\n\nsanitary condition and shall be in good repair and of such\n\nconstruction that will facilitate maintenance in a sanitary\n\ncondition. Rooms used for bottling and bottle washing shall be well\n\nlighted and adequately ventilated. All necessary precautions shall\n\nbe taken to protect against the entrance of rodents and insects.\n\n(3) All bottles and containers shall be thoroughly cleaned and\n\ngiven approved bactericidal treatment prior to filling. Facilities\n\nand methods of filing bottles or containers shall be such as to\n\nminimize the possibility of contamination.\n\n(4) Adequate and convenient handwashing and toilet facilities\n\nshall be provided and maintained in a sanitary condition.\n\n(5) All bottles or containers shall be plainly labeled as to\n\ncontents and shall show the name and address of the bottled water\n\nplant.
