Stat. tit. 63, § 63-1065","heading":"Dwellings for disaster victims and defense workers","body":"Notwithstanding the provisions of this or any other act relating\n\nto rentals of, preferences or eligibility for admission to, or\n\noccupancy of dwellings in housing projects, during a time of war as\n\ndeclared by Congress an authority determines that there is an acute\n\nneed for housing to assure the availability of dwellings for persons\n\nengaged in national defense activities or for victims of a major\n\ndisaster at any time the same may occur, the authority may undertake\n\nthe development and administration of housing projects for the\n\nfederal government, and dwellings in any housing project under the\n\njurisdiction of the authority may be made available to persons\n\nengaged in national defense activities or to victims of a Major\n\ndisaster, as the case may be.
