Stat. tit. 63, § 63-2063e","heading":"Promulgation of rules","body":"The State Commissioner of Health shall promulgate rules\n\nnecessary to implement this act including, but not limited to, rules\n\nthat:\n\n1. Adopt a set of standards for the approval of certified\n\ncommunity health worker initial coursework or curriculum;\n\n2. Establish examination administration requirements for the\n\nState Department of Health or one or more designees;\n\n3. Define minimum qualifications for applicants to be\n\ncertified; provided, however, the applicant shall be exempt from any\n\neducational, training, or examination requirements if the applicant\n\nhas provided evidence to the State Department of Health of work\n\nexperience as a community health worker demonstrating a minimum of\n\none thousand (1,000) practical hours and a recommendation from a\n\nsupervising provider;\n\n4. Establish the criteria for granting, renewing, denying,\n\nsuspending, and revoking a certificate to uphold health standards\n\nand safety;\n\n5. Prescribe fees for the certified community health worker\n\nexamination, initial certification, and certification renewal; and\n\n6.
