Stat. tit. 63, § 63-2151","heading":"Blood products or tissues - Addition to human body -","body":"Warranty.\n\nThe procurement, processing, distribution or use of whole blood,\n\nplasma, blood products, blood derivatives and other human tissues\n\nsuch as corneas, bones or organs for the purpose of injecting,\n\ntransfusing or transplanting any of them into the human body, for\n\ncompensation or otherwise, shall be deemed a transaction for the\n\npurposes of this act. No such transaction shall give rise to any\n\nimplied warranty of the fitness, quality, suitability of purpose,\n\nsafety, acceptability to the body of the patient or of any other\n\ncharacteristic or circumstance incident to the transaction involved\n\nbearing upon the propriety of the transaction, as applied to the\n\nrecipient, on the part of the person or persons rendering such\n\nservice, in the absence of negligence.
