The State Department of Health and the State Department of\n\nEducation, giving consideration to the recommendations of the\n\nAdvancement of Wellness Advisory Council created in Section 44 of\n\nthis act, shall develop organ donor education awareness programs to\n\neducate the general public on the importance of organ donation and\n\nshall recommend priorities in the expenditures from the Oklahoma\n\nOrgan Donor Education and Awareness Program Fund.\n\nB. In administering this act, the State Department of Health\n\nand the State Department of Education are authorized, but not\n\nlimited to:\n\n1. Develop and implement educational programs and campaigns to\n\nincrease organ donation in Oklahoma;\n\n2. Make policy recommendations for the promotion of organ\n\ndonation in Oklahoma;\n\n3. Recommend priorities in the expenditures from the Oklahoma\n\nOrgan Donor Education Program Fund;\n\n4. Accept and hold property; and\n\n5. Utilize local resources including volunteers when\n\nappropriate.\n\nC.
