Stat. tit. 63, § 63-2220.3","heading":"Oklahoma Organ Donor Education and Awareness Program","body":"Revolving Fund.\n\nA. There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving\n\nfund for the State Department of Health, to be designated the\n\n\"Oklahoma Organ Donor Education and Awareness Program Revolving\n\nFund\". The fund shall be a continuing fund, not subject to fiscal\n\nyear limitations, and shall consist of all monies received by the\n\nState Department of Health from:\n\n1. Any state monies appropriated for the purpose of\n\nimplementing the provisions of the Oklahoma Organ Donor Education\n\nand Awareness Program Act; and\n\n2. Any monies collected pursuant to this section or any other\n\nmonies available to the State Department of Health to implement the\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Organ Donor Education and Awareness\n\nProgram Act.\n\nB. All monies accruing to the credit of the fund are hereby\n\nappropriated and shall be budgeted and expended to promote and\n\nencourage organ donor education and awareness.\n\nC. Monies credited to the fund, excluding administrative fees\n\npaid to the Oklahoma Tax Commission, may be used for, but are not\n\nlimited to:\n\n1. Administration of the Oklahoma Organ Donor Education and\n\nAwareness Program Act;\n\n2. Development and promotion of organ donor public education\n\nand awareness programs in cooperation with the Oklahoma Organ\n\nSharing Network including, but not limited to, the American Red\n\nCross and the Oklahoma Lions Eye Bank;\n\n3. To assist in the publication of information pamphlets or\n\nbooklets by the State Department of Health and the State\n\nSuperintendent of Public Instruction regarding organ donation and\n\ndonations to the Oklahoma Organ Donor Education and Awareness\n\nProgram Revolving Fund. The State Department of Health shall\n\ndistribute such informational pamphlets or booklets to Service\n\nOklahoma for distribution to applicants for original, renewal, or\n\nreplacement driver licenses and identification cards when making a\n\nvoluntary contribution pursuant to Section 2220.5 of this title and\n\nto the Oklahoma Tax Commission for distribution to individuals when\n\nmaking a voluntary contribution pursuant to the state income tax\n\ncheck off provided for in Section 2220.4 of this title;\n\n4. Implementation of organ donor education and awareness\n\nprograms in the elementary and secondary schools of this state by\n\nthe State Department of Education;\n\n5. Grants by the State Department of Health to certified organ\n\nprocurement organizations for the development and implementation of\n\norgan donor education and awareness programs in this state;\n\n6. Encouraging the incorporation of organ donor information\n\ninto the medical and nursing school curriculums of the state's\n\nmedical and nursing schools. If funds are provided to a university\n\nfor this educational purpose, the university shall annually evaluate\n\nthe extent to which the curriculum has affected the attitudes of its\n\nstudents and graduates with regard to organ donation and shall\n\nforward the evaluation results to the State Department of Health;\n\nand\n\n7. A reserve fund in an interest-bearing account with five\n\npercent (5%) of the monies received by the fund annually to be\n\nplaced in this account. No funds may be expended from the reserve\n\nfund account until the required balance has reached One Hundred\n\nThousand Dollars ($100,000.00) and then these funds may only be used\n\nin years when donations do not meet the average normal operating fee\n\nincurred by the fund, and funds are expended to meet expenses. Once\n\nthe balance in the reserve fund account reaches One Hundred Thousand\n\nDollars ($100,000.00), excess funds earned by interest, and yearly\n\nallocations may be used at the discretion of the State Department of\n\nHealth to cover operating costs and to provide additional funds.\n\nD. The fund may accept bequests and grants from individuals,\n\ncorporations, organizations, associations, and any other source.\n\nThe fund supplements and augments services provided by state\nousand\n\nDollars ($100,000.00), excess funds earned by interest, and yearly\n\nallocations may be used at the discretion of the State Department of\n\nHealth to cover operating costs and to provide additional funds.\n\nD. The fund may accept bequests and grants from individuals,\n\ncorporations, organizations, associations, and any other source.\n\nThe fund supplements and augments services provided by state\n\nagencies and does not take the place of such services.\n\nE.
