Stat. tit. 63, § 63-2351","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act:\n\n1. \"Safety glazing material\" means any glazing material, such\n\nas tempered glass, laminated glass, wire glass or rigid plastic,\n\nwhich meets the test requirements of ANSI Standard Z-97.1-1966 and\n\nsuch further requirements as may be adopted by the State Health\n\nDepartment after notice and hearing as required by the\n\nAdministrative Procedures Act, and which are so constructed, treated\n\nor combined with other materials as to minimize the likelihood of\n\ncutting and piercing injuries resulting from human contact with the\n\nglazing material.\n\n2. \"Hazardous locations\" means those installations, glazed or\n\nto be glazed in commercial and public buildings, known as framed or\n\nunframed glass extrance doors; and those installations, glazed or to\n\nbe glazed in residential buildings and other structures used as\n\ndwellings, commercial buildings, and public buildings, known as\n\nsliding glass doors, storm doors, shower doors, bathtub enclosures,\n\nand fixed glazed panels adjacent to entrance and exit doors which\n\nbecause of their location present a barrier in the normal path\n\ntraveled by persons going into or out of these buildings, and\n\nbecause of their size and design may be mistaken as means of ingress\n\nor egress; and any other installation, glazed or to be glazed,\n\nwherein the use of other than safety glazing materials would\n\nconstitute an unreasonable hazard as the State Department of Health\n\nmay determine after notice and hearings as required by the\n\nAdministrative Procedures Act; whether or not the glazing in such\n\ndoors, panels, enclosures and other installations is transparent.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"77336a9b3f546681ab5c3450320df94d36913eff3d39720a706dc9bcbf933c07","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-2261","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-2352"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
