Stat. tit. 63, § 63-2417","heading":"Duties and responsibilities of State Department of","body":"Rehabilitation Services.\n\nThe State Department of Rehabilitation Services is hereby\n\ndirected to:\n\n1. Provide for the availability, distribution and maintenance,\n\nat no cost to qualified individuals with hearing or speech\n\ndisabilities, or both, telecommunication devices and ring-signaling\n\ndevices compatible with the telecommunications relay services for\n\ndeaf or hard-of-hearing and speech-impaired individuals requirements\n\nof the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and regulations\n\npromulgated thereunder; and\n\n2. Design and implement a needs assessment test so that\n\nindividuals with hearing or speech disabilities, or both, are\n\nbenefited by this program. Provided, however, that no equipment and\n\nmaintenance shall be provided without charge for those individuals\n\nmeeting more than two hundred percent (200%) of the income\n\nguidelines for food stamps.
