Stat. tit. 63, § 63-2418","heading":"Telephone access line surcharge - Telecommunications for","body":"the Hearing Impaired Revolving Fund.\n\nA. There is hereby imposed a surcharge of five cents ($0.05)\n\nper local exchange telephone access line per month to pay for the\n\nequipment and maintenance program provided for in Section 2417 of\n\nthis title and to provide for other needed services for the deaf,\n\nseverely hard-of-hearing, severely speech-impaired and deaf-blind\n\nprograms administered through the State Department of Rehabilitation\n\nServices, such surcharge to be paid by each local exchange\n\nsubscriber to local telephone service in this state, unless such\n\nsubscriber is otherwise exempt from taxation.\n\nB. The surcharge shall be collected on the regular monthly bill\n\nby each local exchange telephone company operating in this state and\n\nshall be remitted quarterly to the Oklahoma Tax Commission no later\n\nthan twenty (20) days following the end of each quarter.\n\nC. There is hereby created in the State Treasury the\n\nTelecommunications for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Revolving Fund.\n\nThe fund shall consist of monies imposed in subsection A of this\n\nsection. All monies accruing to the fund are hereby appropriated\n\nand may be budgeted and expended by the State Department of\n\nRehabilitation Services.
