Stat. tit. 63, § 63-2601","heading":"Definitions","body":"For the purposes of this act, the following words and phrases\n\nmean:\n\n(a) \"Minor\" means any person under the age of eighteen (18)\n\nyears of age, except such person who is on active duty with or has\n\nserved in any branch of the Armed Services of the United States\n\nshall be considered an adult.\n\n(b) \"Health professional\" means for the purposes of this act\n\nany licensed physician, psychologist, dentist, osteopathic\n\nphysician, podiatrist, chiropractor, registered or licensed\n\npractical nurse or physician's assistant.\n\n(c) \"Health services\" means services delivered by any health\n\nprofessional including examination, preventive and curative\n\ntreatment, surgical, hospitalization, and psychological services,\n\nexcept abortion or sterilization. Should the health services\n\ninclude counseling concerning abortion, all alternatives will be\n\nfully presented to the minor.
