Stat. tit. 63, § 63-2657","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in this act, unless the context clearly indicates\n\notherwise:\n\n1. \"Ambulatory surgical center\" means:\n\na. an establishment with an organized medical staff of\n\nphysicians, with permanent facilities that are\n\nequipped and operated primarily for the purpose of\n\nperforming surgical procedures, with continuous\n\nphysician services available on call, and registered\n\nprofessional nursing services available on site,\n\nwhenever a patient is in the facility, which provides\n\nservices or other accommodations for patients to\n\nrecover for a period not to exceed twenty-three (23)\n\nhours after surgery, or\n\nb. an establishment with an organized medical staff of\n\ndentists, with permanent facilities that are equipped\n\nand operated primarily for the purpose of performing\n\ndental surgical procedures, with continuous dental\n\nservices available on call, and registered\n\nprofessional nursing services available on site,\n\nwhenever a patient is in the facility, which provides\n\nservices or other accommodations for patients to\n\nrecover for a period not to exceed twenty-three (23)\n\nhours after surgery;\n\n2. \"Commissioner\" means the Commissioner of Health;\n\n3. \"Governmental unit\" means any city, county or other\n\npolitical subdivision of this state, or any department, division,\n\nboard or other agency of any political subdivision of this state;\n\nand\n\n4. \"Person\" means any individual, firm, partnership,\n\ncorporation, company or association and the legal successors\n\nthereof.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"46b9686b857c3afe9be04c0ad121d48eeea3964a686d4052e49fe6dae7a97416","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-2656.2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-2658"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
