Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person and no\n\nhealth care facility shall be required to participate in or provide\n\nfacilities for medical treatment or care of an incompetent patient\n\nwho is to die as the result of dehydration or starvation.\n\nB. The law of this state shall not be construed to permit\n\nwithdrawal or withholding of medical treatment, care, nutrition or\n\nhydration from an incompetent patient because of the mental\n\ndisability or mental status of that patient.\n\nC.
