In the absence of knowledge of the revocation of an advance\n\ndirective, a person is not subject to civil or criminal liability or\n\ndiscipline for unprofessional conduct for carrying out the advance\n\ndirective pursuant to the requirements of the Oklahoma Advance\n\nDirective Act.\n\nB. A physician or other health care provider, whose actions\n\nunder the Oklahoma Advance Directive Act are in accord with\n\nreasonable medical standards, is not subject to criminal or civil\n\nliability or discipline for unprofessional conduct with respect to\n\nthose actions; provided, that this subsection may not be construed\n\nto authorize a violation of Section 3101.9 of this title. In making\n\ndecisions and determinations pursuant to the Oklahoma Advance\n\nDirective Act the physician shall use his or her best judgment\n\napplying with ordinary care and diligence the knowledge and skill\n\nthat is possessed and used by members of the physician’s profession\n\nin good standing engaged in the same field of practice at that time,\n\nmeasured by national standards.\n\nC.
