Death resulting from the withholding or withdrawal of life-\n\nsustaining treatment in accordance with the Oklahoma Advance\n\nDirective Act shall not constitute, for any purpose, a suicide or\n\nhomicide.\n\nB. The making of an advance directive pursuant to Section\n\n3101.4 of this title shall not affect in any manner the sale,\n\nprocurement, or issuance of any policy of life insurance or annuity,\n\nnor shall it affect, impair, or modify the terms of an existing\n\npolicy of life insurance or annuity. A policy of life insurance or\n\nannuity shall not be legally impaired or invalidated in any manner\n\nby the withholding or withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment from\n\nan insured qualified patient, regardless of any term of the policy\n\nor annuity to the contrary.\n\nC. A person shall not prohibit or require the execution of an\n\nadvance directive as a condition for being insured for, or\n\nreceiving, health care services.\n\nD. The Oklahoma Advance Directive Act creates no presumption\n\nconcerning the intention of an individual who has revoked or has not\n\nexecuted an advance directive with respect to the use, withholding,\n\nor withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment.\n\nE. The Oklahoma Advance Directive Act shall not affect the\n\nright of a patient to make decisions regarding use of life-\n\nsustaining treatment, so long as the patient is able to do so, or\n\nimpair or supersede any right or responsibility that a person has to\n\neffect the withholding or withdrawal of medical care; provided, that\n\nthis subsection may not be construed to authorize a violation of\n\nSection 3101.9 of this title.\n\nF. The Oklahoma Advance Directive Act shall not be construed to\n\ncondone, authorize, or approve mercy killing, assisted suicide, or\n\neuthanasia.\n\nG.
