Stat. tit. 63, § 63-3101.9","heading":"Physician or health care provider unwilling to comply","body":"with act.\n\nAn attending physician or other health care provider who is\n\nunwilling to comply with the Oklahoma Advance Directive Act shall as\n\npromptly as practicable take all reasonable steps to arrange care of\n\nthe declarant by another physician or health care provider when the\n\ndeclarant becomes a qualified patient. Once a patient has\n\nestablished a physician-patient relationship with a physician or a\n\nprovider-patient relationship with another health care provider, if\n\nthe physician or other health care provider refuses to comply with a\n\nmedical treatment decision made by or on behalf of the patient\n\npursuant to the Oklahoma Advance Directive Act, or with a medical\n\ntreatment decision made by such a patient who has decision-making\n\ncapacity, and if the refusal would in reasonable medical judgment be\n\nlikely to result in the death of the patient, then the physician or\n\nother health care provider must comply with the medical treatment\n\ndecision pending the completion of the transfer of the patient to a\n\nphysician or health care provider willing to comply with the\n\ndecision. Nothing in this section shall require the provision of\n\ntreatment if the physician or other health care provider is\n\nphysically or legally unable to provide or is physically or legally\n\nunable to provide without thereby denying the same treatment to\n\nanother patient.
