Stat. tit. 63, § 63-3122","heading":"Declaration of death","body":"An individual who has sustained either:\n\n1. irreversible cessation of circulatory and respiratory\n\nfunctions, or\n\n2. irreversible cessation of all functions of the entire brain,\n\nincluding the brain stem,\n\nis dead.
