Except as otherwise provided in the Oklahoma Do-Not-\n\nResuscitate Act, a person's right to receive and a health care\n\nprovider's responsibility to administer cardiopulmonary\n\nresuscitation shall not be impaired. Nothing in the Oklahoma Do-\n\nNot-Resuscitate Act shall impair or supersede a person's right to\n\nchoose to have cardiopulmonary resuscitation withheld or provided or\n\na health care provider's responsibility to withhold or provide\n\ncardiopulmonary resuscitation as provided by law. In this respect,\n\nthe provisions of the Oklahoma Do-Not-Resuscitate Act are\n\ncumulative.\n\nB. In the event of cardiac or respiratory arrest, a patient's\n\nattending physician or other health care provider must comply with\n\nsuch patient's request for cardiopulmonary resuscitation whether\n\nrequested by such patient or such patient's representative, or\n\nrequired by such patient's advance directive.\n\nC. Nothing in the Oklahoma Do-Not-Resuscitate Act shall be\n\nconstrued to preclude a court of competent jurisdiction from\n\napproving the issuance of a do-not-resuscitate order under\n\ncircumstances other than those under which such an order may be\n\nissued pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Do-Not-Resuscitate\n\nAct.\n\nD.
