Stat. tit. 63, § 63-3141.6","heading":"Actions for damages - Persons who may bring","body":"Any person given standing by paragraph 1 or 2 of Section 5 of\n\nthis act, or the person who would have committed suicide, in the\n\ncase of an attempt, may maintain a cause of action against any\n\nperson who violates or attempts to violate Section 3 of this act for\n\ncompensatory damages and punitive damages. Any person given\n\nstanding by paragraphs 3 through 7 of Section 5 of this act may\n\nmaintain a cause of action against any person who violates or\n\nattempts to violate Section 3 of this act for punitive damages.
