Stat. tit. 63, § 63-3217","heading":"Issuance of bonds - Approval of Supreme Court","body":"The University Hospitals Authority or the University Hospitals\n\nTrust may file an application with the Supreme Court of the State of\n\nOklahoma for approval of any bonds to be issued under the provisions\n\nof the University Hospitals Authority Act, and exclusive original\n\njurisdiction is hereby conferred upon the Supreme Court to hear and\n\ndetermine such application. The Supreme Court shall give such\n\napplications precedence over the other business of the Court and\n\nconsider and determine the validity of the bonds and consider the\n\napplication and any protest which may be filed thereto. Notice of\n\nthe hearing on each application shall be given by notice published\n\nin a newspaper of general circulation in this state that on a day\n\nnamed the Authority or the Trust will ask the Court to hear the\n\napplication and approve the bonds. Such notice shall inform all\n\ninterested parties that they may file a protest against the issuance\n\nof the bonds, may be present at the hearing, and may contest the\n\nlegality thereof. Such notice shall be published one time, not less\n\nthan ten (10) days prior to the date named for the hearing and the\n\nhearing may be adjourned from time to time in the discretion of the\n\nCourt. If the Court is satisfied that the bonds have been properly\n\nauthorized in accordance with the University Hospitals Authority\n\nAct, and that when issued such bonds will constitute valid\n\nobligations in accordance with their terms, the Court shall render\n\nits written opinion approving the bonds and shall fix the time\n\nwithin which the petition for rehearing may be filed. The decision\n\nof the Court shall be a judicial determination of the validity of\n\nthe bonds, shall be conclusive as to the Authority or the Trust, its\n\nofficers and agents, and thereafter the bonds so approved and the\n\nrevenues pledged to their payment shall be incontestable in any\n\ncourt in the State of Oklahoma.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8ca8d75083f71d6af157e33e9401974411ad269b63686624bfcb58863820e818","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-3216","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-3218"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
