Stat. tit. 63, § 63-3229","heading":"Report of total value of sales tax exemption – Additional","body":"reporting requirements.\n\nWith respect to the provisions of paragraph 30 of Section 1356\n\nof Title 68 of the Oklahoma Statutes as amended by Enrolled Senate\n\nBill No. 79 of the 1st Session of the 58th Oklahoma Legislature, the\n\nUniversity Hospitals Authority shall report the total value of the\n\nsales tax exemption from the prior fiscal year to the Governor, the\n\nSpeaker of the House of Representatives, the President Pro Tempore\n\nof the Senate, the Chair of the House Appropriations and Budget\n\nCommittee or successor committee, and the Chair of the Senate\n\nAppropriations Committee or successor committee as part of its\n\nannual budget and performance review materials submitted for the\n\nfiscal year beginning July 1, 2024, and for fiscal years thereafter.\n\nThe Authority shall further report the total number of filled\n\nresident positions and the number of nursing graduates of the\n\nUniversity of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center compared to the\n\nbaseline numbers for fiscal year 2021 as part of the same report\n\neach year. The University Hospitals Trust shall confirm for each\n\nfiscal year beginning in fiscal year 2023 that any nonprofit entity\n\nwhich has entered into a joint operating agreement with the Trust\n\nand is subject to the provisions of paragraph 30 of Section 1356 of\n\nTitle 68 of the Oklahoma Statutes has budgeted an amount equal to or\n\ngreater than the baseline amount for fiscal year 2021 for physician\n\nand nursing workforce development, and the Trust shall verify that:\n\n1. The nonprofit entity subject to these provisions has\n\nincreased funding to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences\n\nCenter College of Medicine in a sufficient amount to support seventy\n\nadditional medical residency positions by fiscal year 2025 than the\n\nbaseline amount supported in fiscal year 2021;\n\n2. The nonprofit entity subject to these provisions has\n\nincreased funding to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences\n\nCenter College of Nursing in a sufficient amount to support fifty\n\nadditional Nurse Practitioner graduates by fiscal year 2026 than the\n\nbaseline amount supported in fiscal year 2021; and\n\n3. The nonprofit entity subject to these provisions has\n\nincreased funding to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences\n\nCenter College of Nursing in a sufficient amount to support one\n\nhundred ten additional Registered Nurse graduates by fiscal year\n\n2024 than the baseline amount supported in fiscal year 2021.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"db0726f241643fcad454c17d0e05d79b03cf45ee5a1c16c83cfac0b0ab20e997","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-3226","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-3240.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
