Stat. tit. 63, § 63-3240.4","heading":"Licensure of hospitals – Services and payment –","body":"Teaching and training hospitals.\n\nHospitals within the participating health care systems:\n\n1. Shall be licensed by the State Commissioner of Health and\n\nshall meet the standards, requirements and essentials of the Joint\n\nCommission of Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and the\n\nAmerican Osteopathic Association. Provided, the State Commissioner\n\nof Health may waive any such standards, requirements and essentials\n\nas the Commissioner deems necessary;\n\n2. May provide services and receive payments therefor under\n\nTitle XVIII and XIX of the federal Social Security Act, and may\n\nparticipate in other federal medical programs;\n\n3. Shall be available as teaching and training hospitals for\n\nOklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the\n\nUniversity of Oklahoma College of Medicine (Tulsa), and other health\n\nand educational facilities, and shall provide indigent patient care\n\nconsistent with their past policies and performance; and\n\n4.
