Stat. tit. 63, § 63-3278.1","heading":"Oklahoma State University Medical Authority Behavioral","body":"Health Workforce Development Fund — University Hospitals Authority\n\nBehavioral Health Workforce Development Fund.\n\nA. There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving\n\nfund for the Oklahoma State University Medical Authority to be\n\ndesignated the \"Oklahoma State University Medical Authority\n\nBehavioral Health Workforce Development Fund\". The fund shall be a\n\ncontinuing fund, not subject to fiscal year limitations, and shall\n\nconsist of appropriated revenues and private endowments. All monies\n\naccruing to the credit of said fund are hereby appropriated and may\n\nbe budgeted and expended by the Oklahoma State University Medical\n\nAuthority for the purpose of designing and implementing a pilot\n\nprogram at behavioral health facilities, the purpose of which is to\n\nprovide for behavioral health workforce development and access to\n\nbehavioral health professionals as provided by law. The purpose of\n\nthe pilot program includes, but is not limited to, bed conversion\n\nand new beds; renovations at behavioral health facilities to\n\naccommodate new licensed acute or residential treatment beds;\n\nreallocation of beds from adult acute to child/adolescent acute\n\nbeds; relocation assistance for licensed behavioral health staff\n\ncurrently living out of state; upskilling existing behavioral health\n\nworkforce; adding new psychiatric and psychological residencies,\n\ninternships and post-doctoral training programs; providing social\n\nwork scholarships; providing mental health nursing scholarships;\n\ncreating one-time private-sector workforce innovation grants;\n\nproviding licensure preparation assistance; and creating a\n\nbehavioral health trauma fund for intensive home and community-based\n\nservices. Expenditures from the fund shall be made upon warrants\n\nissued by the State Treasurer against claims filed as prescribed by\n\nlaw with the Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices for approval and payment.\n\nB. There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving\n\nfund for the University Hospitals Authority to be designated the\n\n\"University Hospitals Authority Behavioral Health Workforce\n\nDevelopment Fund\". The fund shall be a continuing fund, not subject\n\nto fiscal year limitations, and shall consist of appropriated\n\nrevenues and private endowments. All monies accruing to the credit\n\nof said fund are hereby appropriated and may be budgeted and\n\nexpended by the University Hospitals Authority for the purpose of\n\ndesigning and implementing a pilot program at behavioral health\n\nfacilities, the purpose of which is to provide for behavioral health\n\nworkforce development and access to behavioral health professionals\n\nas provided by law. The Oklahoma State University Medical Authority and the\n\nUniversity Hospitals Authority shall prepare a report for the\n\nLegislature on the results of the first year of funding, including\nthe\n\nfund shall be made upon warrants issued by the State Treasurer\n\nagainst claims filed as prescribed by law with the Director of the\n\nOffice of Management and Enterprise Services for approval and\n\npayment.\n\nC. The Oklahoma State University Medical Authority and the\n\nUniversity Hospitals Authority shall prepare a report for the\n\nLegislature on the results of the first year of funding, including\n\nthe number of professionals retained and recruited, and the expected\n\nbenefits of the program.
