Stat. tit. 63, § 63-3282","heading":"Issuance of bonds - Approval of Supreme Court","body":"The Oklahoma State University Medical Authority or the Oklahoma\n\nState University Medical Trust may file an application with the\n\nSupreme Court of the State of Oklahoma for approval of any bonds to\n\nbe issued under the provisions of the Oklahoma State University\n\nMedical Authority Act, and exclusive original jurisdiction is hereby\n\nconferred upon the Supreme Court to hear and determine such\n\napplication. The Supreme Court shall give such applications\n\nprecedence over the other business of the Court and consider and\n\ndetermine the validity of the bonds and consider the application and\n\nany protest which may be filed thereto. Notice of the hearing on\n\neach application shall be given by notice published in a newspaper\n\nof general circulation in this state that on a day named the\n\nAuthority or the Trust will ask the Court to hear the application\n\nand approve the bonds. Such notice shall inform all interested\n\nparties that they may file a protest against the issuance of the\n\nbonds, may be present at the hearing, and may contest the legality\n\nthereof. Such notice shall be published one time, not less than ten\n\n(10) days prior to the date named for the hearing and the hearing\n\nmay be adjourned from time to time in the discretion of the Court.\n\nIf the Court is satisfied that the bonds have been properly\n\nauthorized in accordance with the Oklahoma State University Medical\n\nAuthority Act, and that when issued such bonds will constitute valid\n\nobligations in accordance with their terms, the Court shall render\n\nits written opinion approving the bonds and shall fix the time\n\nwithin which the petition for rehearing may be filed. The decision\n\nof the Court shall be a judicial determination of the validity of\n\nthe bonds, shall be conclusive as to the Authority of the Trust, its\n\nofficers and agents, and thereafter the bonds so approved and the\n\nrevenues pledged to their payment shall be incontestable in any\n\ncourt in the State of Oklahoma.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2e3630fa6fb8cbd5c9d29d0804ce5bb50a9793a6b3331adb6c97d4fd2d8ace40","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-3281","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-3283"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
