Stat. tit. 63, § 63-4016","heading":"Application for registration of vessel - Contents -","body":"Issuance of certificate and assignment of permanent number -\n\nAvailability and inspection of certificate and bill of sale.\n\nA. Every owner of a vessel, when making application for\n\nregistration, shall furnish the following information:\n\n1. A full description of the vessel including the\n\nmanufacturer's serial, model, or other identification number, the\n\nmanufacturer's factory delivered price, and the total delivered\n\nprice of said vessel;\n\n2. The correct name and address, the name of the city, county\n\nand state in which the person in whose name the vessel is to be\n\nregistered resides;\n\n3. The county of location of the vessel; and\n\n4. Such other information as may be prescribed by Service\n\nOklahoma.\n\nB. Upon the filing of a registration application for a vessel\n\nand the payment of the fees provided for in the Oklahoma Vessel and\n\nMotor Registration Act, Section 4002 et seq. of this title, Service\n\nOklahoma shall issue the owner of the vessel a certificate of\n\nregistration and two registration decals and shall also assign a\n\npermanent number for the vessel described in the application. The\n\nregistration decals and the permanent number shall be recorded on\n\nthe annual registration certificate covering such vessel. The\n\npermanent number shall be displayed upon the vessel as required by\n\nSection 4030 of this title.\n\nC. The current certificate of registration shall be legible and\n\navailable for inspection at all times.\n\nD. On all new and used vessels, prior to receipt of the\n\ncertificate of registration and the registration decals, the\n\ndealer's bill of sale shall be available for inspection at all times\n\nfor the first thirty (30) calendar days from the date of purchase.\n\nThereafter, prior to receipt of the certificate of registration and\n\nthe registration decals, the official registration receipt from\n\nService Oklahoma or a licensed operator shall be available for\n\ninspection at all times.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8a0cbbe421d2dae54c8c071b3afe0ecb2d6223ef5b330e985aa9b84fd8863014","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-4015","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-4017"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
