Stat. tit. 63, § 63-4017","heading":"Application for registration of motor - Contents -","body":"Issuance of certificate - Availability and inspection of certificate\n\nand bill of sale.\n\nA. Every owner of an outboard motor in excess of ten (10)\n\nhorsepower, when making application for registration, shall furnish\n\nthe following information:\n\n1. A full description of the outboard motor including the\n\nmanufacturer's serial, model, or other identification number, the\n\nmanufacturer's factory delivered price, and the total delivered\n\nprice of said outboard motor;\n\n2. The correct name and address, and the name of the city,\n\ncounty and state in which the person in whose name the outboard\n\nmotor is to be registered resides;\n\n3. The county of location of such outboard motor; and\n\n4. Such other information as may be prescribed by Service\n\nOklahoma.\n\nB. Upon the filing of a registration application for an\n\noutboard motor and the payment of the fees provided for in the\n\nOklahoma Vessel and Motor Registration Act, Service Oklahoma shall\n\nissue the owner of the outboard motor a certificate of registration\n\nand a registration decal.\n\nC. The current certificate of registration shall be legible and\n\navailable for inspection at all times.\n\nD. On all new and used outboard motors, prior to receipt of the\n\ncertificate of registration and the registration decal, the dealer's\n\nbill of sale shall be available for inspection at all times for the\n\nfirst thirty (30) calendar days from the date of purchase.\n\nThereafter, prior to receipt of the certificate of registration and\n\nthe registration decal, the official registration receipt from\n\nService Oklahoma or a licensed operator shall be available for\n\ninspection at all times.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"91052d98459bb944ffe4731bac0b9e086dd2837c8d6a57298f5fa67ab4ed0f84","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-4016","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-4018"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
