The registration fees herein levied upon vessels and\n\nmotors located within this state shall be due on the first day of\n\nJuly each year and shall become delinquent on the first day of\n\nAugust thereafter.\n\n2. Any person owning a vessel or motor subject to the\n\nprovisions of this subsection and failing or refusing to file\n\napplication for the registration of such vessel or motor and to pay\n\nthe annual registration fee as provided by the Oklahoma Vessel and\n\nMotor Registration Act, on or before the 31st day of July each year,\n\nshall be deemed delinquent.\n\nB. On the registration of new vessels or new motors purchased\n\nin this state and on new or used vessels or motors used in this\n\nstate or brought into this state between July 1 and September 30,\n\ninclusive, of any year the payment of the full annual registration\n\nand license fee shall be collected; and between October 1 and\n\nDecember 31, inclusive, of any year the payment of three-fourths\n\n(3/4) the annual registration and license fee shall be collected;\n\nand between January 1 and March 31, inclusive, of any year the\n\npayment of one-half (1/2) the annual registration and license fee\n\nshall be collected; and between April 1 and June 30, inclusive, of\n\nany year the payment of one-fourth (1/4) of the annual registration\n\nand license fee shall be collected.\n\nC. Any person registering a vessel or motor under the\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Vessel and Motor Registration Act may\n\nelect to have the vessel or motor registered for a three-year\n\nperiod. If a person elects to register the vessel or motor for a\n\nthree-year period, the person shall pay ninety percent (90%) of the\n\nregistration fees that the person would have otherwise paid if the\n\nperson had registered the vessel or a motor on an annual basis over\n\nthe three-year period. If a person is registering a vessel or motor\n\npursuant to the provisions of subsection B of this section and\n\nelects to register the vessel or motor for a three-year period, the\n\npartial year registration shall count as one of the three (3) years\n\nof registration. The licensed operator registering the vessel or\n\nmotor for a three-year period shall receive one hundred percent\n\n(100%) of the fees the licensed operator would have otherwise\n\nreceived pursuant to subsection B of Section 1141.1 of Title 47 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes if the vessel or motor had been registered on\n\nan annual basis over the three-year period.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"db32d814dcd36f9929e816b94034a034935c88fa89a79db0bb403e28618cf457","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-4018","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-4020"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
