Stat. tit. 63, § 63-4209.3","heading":"Making false statement in application for certificate","body":"of title or assignment thereof for stolen vessel or motor -\n\nPenalties.\n\nAny person who shall knowingly make any false statement of a\n\nmaterial fact, either in his application for a certificate of title,\n\nas provided for in this title, or in any assignment thereof, or who,\n\nwith intent to procure or pass title to a vessel or motor which he\n\nknows or has reason to believe has been stolen, or who shall receive\n\nor transfer possession of the same from or to another, or who shall\n\nhave in his possession any vessel or motor which he knows or has\n\nreason to believe has been stolen, and who is not a duly authorized\n\npeace officer of this state engaged at the time in the performance\n\nof his duty as such officer, upon conviction, shall be guilty of a\n\nClass D1 felony offense and shall be punished by a fine of not less\n\nthan One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) and not more than Five Thousand\n\nDollars ($5,000.00), or imprisonment as provided for in subsections\n\nB through F of Section 20N of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, or\n\nby both such fine and imprisonment, at the discretion of the court.\n\nThis provision shall not be exclusive of any other penalties\n\nprescribed by an existing or future law for the larceny or\n\nunauthorized taking of a vessel or motor.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"380b71b332f4e2dfc12b3c58f5fb98820b1a0e32f3bedbf81a60b9a6698b5eab","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-4209.2v2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-4209.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
