Stat. tit. 63, § 63-4217.1","heading":"Abandoned vessels – Notice of removal","body":"Any officer who has removed or directed the removal of any\n\nvessel, or an authorized person in the employing agency of the\n\nofficer, shall within seventy-two (72) hours of the removal notify\n\nthe Department of Public Safety of the removal. The notice of\n\nremoval shall contain the name and address of the owner, if known,\n\nthe make, model, vessel identification number, registration number,\n\ndate stored, place stored, and the estimated value. Upon receipt of\n\nsuch notice of removal, the Department of Public Safety shall\n\npromptly request Service Oklahoma or other appropriate registering\n\njurisdiction to furnish the name and address of the owner of and any\n\nlienholder on the vessel and must within five (5) days from receipt\n\nof the requested information send a notice to the owner and any\n\nlienholder by regular mail, postage prepaid, at the addresses\n\nfurnished by Service Oklahoma or registering jurisdiction, of the\n\nlocation of the vessel.
