Beginning August 1, 2022, and ending August 1, 2026, the\n\nOklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority shall, based on the number of\n\ncurrent medical marijuana business licenses for dispensaries,\n\nprocessors, and commercial growers, declare and establish a\n\nmoratorium on processing and issuing new medical marijuana business\n\nlicenses for dispensaries, processors, and commercial growers. The\n\nExecutive Director of the Authority shall be authorized to terminate\n\nthe moratorium at any time prior to August 1, 2026, if the Executive\n\nDirector determines that all pending licensing reviews, inspections,\n\nor investigations have been completed by the Authority.\n\nB. The provisions of this section shall not apply to the\n\nrenewal of a medical marijuana business license for a dispensary,\n\nprocessor, or commercial grower under the provisions of Section\n\n427.14 of this title or to the issuance of a medical marijuana\n\nbusiness license necessitated by a change in the ownership or\n\nlocation of a medical marijuana dispensary, medical marijuana\n\nprocessor, or medical marijuana commercial grower; provided,\n\nhowever, the Authority shall be authorized to deny the request for\n\nissuance of a medical marijuana business license due to a change in\n\nownership if the licensee is subject to any disciplinary action that\n\nmay necessitate the revocation, suspension, or nonrenewal of the\n\nmedical marijuana business license.\n\nC. The Authority shall review and process applications for\n\nmedical marijuana business licenses for dispensaries, processors,\n\nand commercial growers if applications were received on or before\n\nAugust 1, 2022.\n\nD.
