The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority shall require all\n\nemployees of medical marijuana facilities to submit their\n\nfingerprints to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI)\n\nfor the purpose of conducting a state and federal fingerprint-based\n\ncriminal background check.\n\nB. The Authority may require that such fingerprint submissions\n\nbe made as part of an individual’s application for a license,\n\npermit, identification card, or credential authorizing that\n\nindividual to be an employee of a medical marijuana facility.\n\nC. Fingerprint cards and any required fees shall be sent to the\n\nOSBI central repository. The fingerprint records shall be used for\n\nsearching the state criminal records repository and shall also be\n\nforwarded to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for a federal\n\ncriminal record search as provided in Section 150.9 of Title 74 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes. The OSBI shall notify the Authority of any\n\ncriminal history record information or lack of criminal history\n\nrecord information discovered on the submitting individual.\n\nNotwithstanding the provisions of Section 150.9b of Title 74 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes, all records related to any criminal history\n\ninformation discovered shall be accessible and available to the\n\nAuthority.\n\nD. As used in this section:\n\n1. “Employee” means any natural person who:\n\na. grows, harvests, dries, cures, purchases, sells,\n\ntransfers, transports, processes, produces,\n\nmanufactures, creates, or packages medical marijuana,\n\nmedical marijuana products, or medical marijuana waste\n\non behalf of or for a licensed medical marijuana\n\ncommercial grower, processor, or dispensary,\n\nb. samples, trains, or educates on behalf of or for a\n\nlicensed medical marijuana education or research\n\nfacility,\n\nc. disposes of or transports medical marijuana, medical\n\nmarijuana products, and medical marijuana waste on\n\nbehalf of or for a licensed medical marijuana waste\n\ndisposal facility,\n\nd. tests and conducts research on medical marijuana and\n\nmedical marijuana products on behalf of or for a\n\nmedical marijuana licensed testing laboratory,\n\ne. transports, stores, distributes, but does not take\n\nownership of, medical marijuana and medical marijuana\n\nproducts on behalf of or for a licensed medical\n\nmarijuana commercial transporter,\n\nf. tracks, traces, reports, and inputs any information\n\ninto the state inventory tracking system on behalf of\n\nor for a licensed medical marijuana commercial license\n\nholder, or\n\ng. serves in a role or provides services which would be\n\nreasonably expected to involve regular physical\n\ncontact with medical marijuana, medical marijuana\n\nproducts, or medical marijuana waste; and\n\n2. “Medical marijuana facility” means an entity licensed or\n\ncertified by the Authority to acquire, cultivate, process,\n\nmanufacture, test, store, sell, transport, or deliver medical\n\nmarijuana.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"95796dbac6675d8b02375b161c833bd4b3098da8027496c1a971231f8adeb77a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-427.27","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-427.29"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
