Stat. tit. 63, § 63-427.29","heading":"Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority Executive","body":"Advisory Council — Composition — Powers and duties.\n\nA. There is hereby created the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana\n\nAuthority Executive Advisory Council.\n\nB. The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority Executive Advisory\n\nCouncil shall consist of the following members, and all appointees\n\nshall serve their terms at the pleasure of the appointing authority\n\nand may be removed or replaced without cause:\n\n1. One member appointed by the Governor to represent all\n\ncitizens of this state;\n\n2. One member appointed by the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of\n\nRepresentatives, who shall be a citizen from a county with a\n\npopulation under twenty-five thousand (25,000) persons, as\n\ndetermined by the latest Federal Decennial Census;\n\n3. One member appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the\n\nOklahoma State Senate, who shall be a citizen from a municipality\n\nwith a population in excess of seventy-five thousand (75,000)\n\npersons, as determined by the latest Federal Decennial Census;\n\n4. One member appointed by the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of\n\nRepresentatives, who is a current medical marijuana business license\n\nholder;\n\n5. One member appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the\n\nOklahoma State Senate, who is a current medical marijuana business\n\nlicense holder; and\n\n6. One member appointed by the Governor, who holds a medical\n\nmarijuana patient license.\n\nC. The Executive Director of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana\n\nAuthority shall chair the Advisory Council and provide staff and\n\nadministrative support to the Advisory Council.\n\nD. The Advisory Council shall select a co-chair from the\n\nmembership of the Advisory Council.\n\nE. Each member of the Advisory Council shall serve a term of\n\nfour (4) years from the date of appointment. Members of the\n\nAdvisory Council shall not serve more than two consecutive terms.\n\nF. A majority of the members of the Advisory Council shall\n\nconstitute a quorum for the transaction of business and for taking\n\nany official actions. Official actions by the Advisory Council\n\nshall have a favorable vote by a majority of the members present.\n\nG. Appointed members who serve on the Advisory Council shall be\n\nexempt from dual-office-holding prohibitions pursuant to Section 6\n\nof Title 51 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nH. The Advisory Council may advise the Authority of recommended\n\nchanges to state policy, rules, or statutes.\n\nI. The Advisory Council shall prepare and issue a report of its\n\nfindings and recommendations electronically to the Governor,\n\nPresident Pro Tempore of the Senate, and Speaker of the House by\n\nNovember 1, 2025, and no later than November 1 of each year\n\nthereafter.\n\nJ. Members appointed pursuant to subsection B of this section\n\nshall serve without compensation but shall be reimbursed for\n\nexpenses incurred in the performance of their duties in accordance\n\nwith the State Travel Reimbursement Act.\n\nK. The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority Executive Advisory\n\nCouncil shall meet as often as necessary to conduct business but\n\nshall meet not less than four times a year, with an organizational\n\nmeeting to be held prior to January 1, 2025.\n\nL. Any vacancy occurring on the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana\n\nAuthority Executive Advisory Council shall be filled for the\n\nunexpired term of office in the same manner as provided for in\n\nsubsection B of this section.\n\nM.
