Medical marijuana waste shall be subject to the provisions\n\nof the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Waste Management Act and shall not\n\nbe subject to the provisions of the Uniform Controlled Dangerous\n\nSubstances Act. Nothing in the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Waste\n\nManagement Act shall alter or affect the jurisdictional areas of\n\nenvironmental responsibility of the Department of Environmental\n\nQuality as provided for in Title 27A of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nB. Commercial licensees, medical marijuana research facilities\n\nand medical marijuana education facilities shall be authorized to\n\ndestroy the following marijuana plant parts without being required\n\nto utilize the services of a medical marijuana waste disposal\n\nfacility:\n\n1. Roots;\n\n2. Stems;\n\n3. Fan leaves;\n\n4. Seeds; or\n\n5. Stalks.\n\nUnless restricted by local ordinance, commercial licensees,\n\nmedical marijuana research facilities and medical marijuana\n\neducation facilities shall be authorized to destroy the above-listed\n\nmarijuana plant parts on-site by open burning, incineration,\n\nburying, mulching, composting or any other technique approved by the\n\nDepartment of Environmental Quality.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a2a976f3af5798d50f166359360657fcc18adae4a88de54e7336ab774cdec2ff","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-428.1v2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-430"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
