The Authority shall serve as a resource for information on\n\nstate-purchased and state-subsidized health care access, cost\n\ncontainment and related health issues, and shall:\n\n1. Provide data and information required by the Governor, the\n\nLegislature, or its committees, and to state agencies, institutions\n\nof higher education and cities, towns, counties and school districts\n\nand to private citizens and groups, within the limitations of the\n\nresources available to the Authority;\n\n2. Participate with any state agency or institution of higher\n\neducation in developing specific goals, programs, and performance\n\nmonitoring systems to assist in the development of health care\n\ndelivery in this state;\n\n3. Conduct or contract for studies which are related to health\n\ncare delivery, involving product or process innovation; and\n\n4. Prepare, publish and distribute such studies, reports,\n\nbulletins and other materials as it considers appropriate regarding\n\nhealth care studies and other relevant health care topics.
