Stat. tit. 63, § 63-695.3","heading":"Prompt, full and effective response - Legally designated","body":"jurisdiction official.\n\nEach jurisdiction recognizes that there will be emergencies\n\nwhich require immediate actions and implementation of procedures to\n\napply outside resources to make prompt and effective response to\n\nsuch an emergency. This is because few, if any, individual\n\njurisdictions have all the resources they need in all types of\n\nemergencies and the capability of delivering resources to the area\n\nwhere emergencies occur.\n\nThe prompt, full and effective utilization of resources of the\n\nparticipating jurisdictions, including any resources on hand or\n\navailable from any other source, that are essential to the safety,\n\ncare, and welfare of the people in the event of any emergency or\n\ndisaster shall be the underlying principle on which all articles of\n\nthis Compact shall be understood.\n\nOn behalf of the chief elected officer of each jurisdiction\n\nparticipating in the Compact, the legally designated jurisdiction\n\nofficial who is assigned responsibility for emergency management\n\nwill be responsible for the formulation of the appropriate aid plans\n\nand procedures necessary to implement the Compact.","path":["OK Code","Title 63"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os63.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f71acfa1c4a7f59de48e68dc6f0ad98e9e05a0c3506345bd37ffd513a35cdbba","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-695.2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-63-63-695.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
